10 Brazilian Deep Wave Hairstyles That You'll Love
Turn Heads with Deep Waves!
Straight hair can be a bit limiting at times. Boring, and just all-around dull. However, going with Deep Wave hair extensions can give you a different texture and versatility. A deep wave sew in might cure your style boredom.
Keep reading for ten ways you can style your deep wave hair extensions into the trendiest hairstyles of today. You'll need to make sure you secure some deep wave weave before trying out these styles. My favorite kind is Brazilian deep wave.
Pick Your Favorite Deep Wave Style
Deep wave hair has become increasingly popular in the last few years. When I was in my teens wearing a weave, deep wave hair wasn’t as popular. Most people wanted straight Remy hair because they assumed it was easier to style and manage. Many people assume that deep wave hair cannot be styled without ruining the luscious curls with the natural style.
Thankfully that’s been changed. The important thing to remember when choosing deep wave hair is that it should be human hair for it to be styled. If you get synthetic deep wave hair, you won’t be able to style it and will need to maintain the natural style of it. However, if you want to style your hair however you please, then purchasing human hair is your best option. As mentioned before, my favorite style of deep wave hair is Brazilian Deep Wave, but there are plenty of styles to choose from.
You’ll want to make sure that you choose a style before completing your look. We’ve come up with 10 different deep wave styles for you to try out. To get started, take a look at our extension options on Private Label Extensions. After doing that, look through this list and see which style you love most. Of course, don’t be afraid to think outside the box when choosing your next style.
All of these styles showcase the versatility of deep wave hair and all the different ways you can wear it!
#1 A Curly Bun
If you are keeping it simple, and need a professional style to get you through your day at the office try a curly bun:
Low to Mid Height Bun: create a clean part in your leave out and gather all of your hair at the nape of your neck and pull hair taut to make the base of the hair sleek then twist the length of the hair.
Then, wrap the hair around in a circular motion and secure it with a hair tie. Add a little personality to the style by sectioning off a small bang at the front of your hair and let tendrils fall loosely in front of your face. You can also add multiple bobby pins to the side of your bun for decoration.
Place the pins in all different directions in one area of concentration; the pins will draw eyes to the front of your style.
#2 High Bun
High bun: brush all of your hair towards the back and gather all of your curls at the top of your head. Secure your hair at the top of your hair by pulling your hair halfway through the ponytail holder.
Add a patterned silk scarf around her hair to add a high-fashion element to the textured bun.
#3 Half Up Half Down
For a style that gives a full view of your face and still shows off the length of your deep wave weave try brushing the front of your hair back and separating the top half from the bottom half.
Secure the top half in a bun and leave the bottom half flowing. Add an extra element to this style by brushing the opposing front sides of the ponytail extremely flat and add extra lift to the top center.
This styling technique will create a hump effect! (Think Snookie at the Jersey shore with less hump height.)
#4 Braided Updo
To give your deep waves an elegant look you must pull all of the hair back.
First, separate your hair into three sections. Then, braid your deep wave hair up from the nape of your neck leaving the top of your hair out and secure the top with a hair tie. Let the top half of the ponytail fall on your face similar to a wavey bang.
This style creates a waterfall effect.
#5 French Braids
Detangle your hair before you french braid to ensure a clean canvas.
Part your hair down the middle into two sections. Starting with one section separate your hair into three sections and starting at the beginning of your hairline braid your hair downward, adding hair into the braid as you go. Repeat this to the other section of your hair to create two French braids.
Pull at the loops of each braid to make them look thick and full.
#6 Crown Braid
Braided styles look amazing with wavy hair because it brings out the texture of the weave and adds fullness to normally flat hairstyles.
Comb all of your hair out to surround your head similar to the character Cousin It from the Adams Family. Begin at the back of your head and part your hair starting from the middle of your head to the nape of your neck. Start braiding your hair from the back center of your neck following along the perimeter of your hairline adding hair as you go.
Continue braiding until you meet the start of your braid and conceal the tail of your braid by pinning it into your cornrow.
Add gold hair jewels to your jumbo braid and pull loose tendrils on the sides of your braid to frame your face.
#7 Curly Ponytail with Deep Wave Hair Extensions
Create a wavy ponytail by brushing all of your hair towards the back and separating a small piece from the bulk of the hair.
Pull the remainder of the wavy hair into a high ponytail. Take the small section left out of the ponytail and braid it.
Then wrap the braid around the base of the ponytail to conceal the hair tie.
#8 Twisted Updo
Part your hair into six sections. Take each section of hair and two-strand twist the section.
Then twist the section and pin it up and secure all of the sections into a ponytail.
#9 Braided Side Bun
Brush all of your hair to an angle.
If you would like a bun on the left side of your head, Start braiding your hair from the top right side of your head in a diagonal line.
Once you get to the nape of your neck secure your waves in a messy bun and pull a few of your curls out of the bun.
#10 Two Buns
Part your hair down the middle into two sections.
Pull the first section tight at a 90-degree angle on the top of your head and smooth the hair by brushing outward away from the part.
Then, wrap the hair around your hand in a circular motion creating a bun and secure with a hair tie.
Repeat this step with the second section to create two trendy top knot buns.
Follow Your Personal Style
How many different ways have you styled your Brazilian Deep Wave Hair from Private Label Extensions? Our deep wave hair is amazing, versatile, and soft! The hair we provide is great for replicating any one of these looks. Before choosing, think about a few ideas that can help you be unique.
For me, I love to add hair accessories to my Deep Wave style. That way I can maintain my personal style and not get lost in the sauce of everyone else. A friend of mine told me that they love to wear high pony tails using deep wave extensions. Then, to maintain her personal style, she uses colorful scrunchies to showcase her love of the ’70s and all of its color schemes.
My sister likes to make a single braid out of her deep wave hair and attaches clips to the ends of it. Also, when thinking of these accessories, you should think about your clothing style as well. When I was thinking of deep waves, I think of warm weather. For example, if you’re going on vacation, you might want to think about getting this style.
Do you live somewhere that it is constantly warm? Deep wave hair is the style for you! The installation process is also essential to the styles that you choose. If you decide to wear a leave out, you’ll need to ensure that your hair is the same style.
If your hair isn’t the same texture, then you should think about getting a wig made, or a full installation with a closure.
