I have very coarse hair so I use a variety of things but the Shea Moisture Deep Treatment Masque is definitely one of the things that I use often. I mean you can purchase it from Walmart and it comes at a reasonable price.

Another treatment is the ACV wash! It may not sound or smell as great but definitely beneficial to healthy, Ph balanced, fresh and clean hair!

The scalp has a natural pH level of about 5. This Ph level is important in keeping the cuticle layer of your hair flat and closed. The reason being is flat cuticles = Shiny, smooth, soft hair, and less frizz. An ACV wash will help to prevent tangling, breakage, dryness, and hair loss, by helping each individual hair strand retain moisture and making them smooth and less likely to catch on each other.

Apple cider vinegar is just what the name implies. It is a type of vinegar made using the must from cider or apple. It is often called “ACV” for short, has a pale amber yellow color. Apple cider vinegar is a favorite go-to source for healthy people. It is antimicrobial, antiviral, and antifungal.

Mix water and ACV together. Some people use a fairly concentrated mixture: 1 part ACV to 4 parts water. Other people use a less concentrated mixture, like a tablespoon of ACV to half a cup of water or more.

Make the mixture the same way, but instead of using a spray bottle, take it into the shower with you in a cup. Pour it over your hair at the end of your shower. You can rinse it out after a few minutes or leave it in to dry.
