My Addiction to Mink Eyelashes
False eyelashes have become a vital component in my makeup routine because mascara just does not work for me.
To be honest, I have no clue where I’d be without them!
Growing up, I realized my natural eyelashes would never reach the length or volume I desired, and I had my mother and father to thank for that. And having large almond-shaped eyes and no eyelashes to compliment them made me feel a bit insecure.

New York 3D Mink Eyelashes
On days, when I need that natural look but still a bit of length, 'New York' mink lashes are my go-to eyelashes.
My absolute favorite out of all four, these lashes compliment any eye shape.
The thin band provided allows for easy application, which helps the 'New York' lashes blend in perfectly with your lashes whether short or long.
Lola 3D Mink Eyelashes
If you’re going for that dramatic natural look, Lola is your girl.
I just recently purchased these for the first time and I love them!
This version of Mink lashes is part of PLE’s thick band eyelash line. One thing I love about the thick band on eyelashes is the security and the fact that these babies aren’t going anywhere whether I sleep with them or go for a swim.
Even though these lashes can be considered dramatic, the fray-like style gives them a natural edgy finish, and they look even better over time.

Applying 3D Mink Eyelashes
When applying lashes, glue is a major factor in making sure the eyelashes are properly secured and last through the day.
My personal favorite is the Duo Lash Adhesive in black.
This special eyelash glue gives a certain rubber-like tackiness making them super safe for your lashes and blend easily with a dry finish that turns black. Another great future with this type of lash adhesive is it’s waterproof!
Ladies, when the waterworks come on for whatever occasion or day you’re having, the lashes will remain secure.
When applying for beginners and experts, I always recommend a pair of small-like tweezers to provide more effectiveness in using them.
Most importantly, make sure you have a mirror that allows you to look down when putting on your eyelashes. Using a mirror in this position will ensure you do not have eyelash glue everywhere on your eyelids.
You always want to make sure your lashes are sitting just right, not too far from your eye shape.
However, if the posture of your lashes becomes an issue, cut them! You always want to make sure your lashes fit properly to your eye shape where they’re not too long or short.
I always recommend cutting off the extra ends of the strip lashes at the beginning giving you more options to stretch the lash as needed.
Tips for Applying 3D Mink Eyelashes
Here are a few tips for your new falsies:
Tip #1: Keep your mink eyelashes properly placed in the container they came in, so they keep their original shape. This technique helps for all falsies you wear to conform to your particular eye shape. Too straight eyelash strips can cause lifting at the ends once placed on your eye and that, girlfriend, is a no-no.
Tip #2: Don’t be scared to wash your lashes especially if they are natural and made of a human hair! Nothing is more important than clean lashes because the last thing you need is an eye infection preventing you from rocking your favorite lash extensions.
Tip #3: Tweezers aren’t just a great tool for applying the lashes but also perfect for removing any excess glue from previous use. Chunks of glue plastered along the lash band invite bacteria and do not allow your falsies to lie naturally for a better look.
Tip #4: To ensure your lashes are secured, once you have applied the glue, let them dry a bit. A good 20-30 seconds allows for the glue to get tacky enough for the lashes to last longer as you wear them no matter how long that is.
