Memorial Drive, Atlanta2014 · The beginning
It started with a hair bill
Mikey Moran noticed something most people outside the hair world never think about: the women around him were spending hundreds of dollars a week to look and feel their best, and too much of it went to hair that didn't last.
So in 2014 he and a partner pulled together $28,000, part of it borrowed from family, rented a 300-square-foot office in Atlanta and started selling human hair online. Some days that meant one or two orders. They reinvested every dollar, answered every phone call and stayed focused on one thing: hair people would come back for.
