If you really want to sell a lot online then you have to really learn how to sell online. You honestly can’t just put up a website, not do anything, then expect to get a bunch of sales. That is just not reality.

Can I customize my website?

Yes! Once we hand over the website it is 100% yours.

What are some things I should do once I have the website?

We recommend starting a blog. It will really help drive traffic to your site. The site comes with standard product descriptions which are great when just getting started. Make a plan to rewrite some of them and add your personality. Add customer photos to the “additional photos” section to show off the hair.

Do I have to use your dropshipping service with the website?

Nope. That is totally up to you. The monthly hosting fee includes full access to the system.

How long does it take to complete the hair extension websites?

It generally takes 7 – 10 business days depending on how many sites are in production. We usually crank them out faster than that!

Should I set up separate social media accounts for my hair brand?

Absolutely. Your current friends might be interested in your brand but they do not want to see it all day. Create new pages for your new hair brand that followers can watch.

    For me selling online has been a challenge. I’ve been a hairstylist for over 10years. I’ve been selling hair for about 2. I purchased wholesale before having a website. I sell hair to not only my clients that need it but word of mouth has played a big role. My friends & family repost my post & tell people they know where to come. This is the reason I know selling online is hard. Most of my people want their hair same day, so having hair on hand is always a plus. I’m still branding myself, marketing to a different crowd than I’m used to & networking to get my name out into the world. Hopefully in the near future, I can get people from all over to purchase Extensions from me but for now, I’m not complaining because I know my hard work will pay off!

      This is a really great blog! I’ve been a stylist for a while now. but I’ve only been doing weaves for maybe 5 years now. Selling bundles for me came about when my clients would bring my hair and it would be terrible. They would pay all this money and it totally wouldn’t be worth it, not to mention the lack of customer service. My first round of selling hair I ordered only 20 bundles and sold out in 2 weeks. I was amazed and been hooked ever since. For me, it’s also about securing my future in the hair game. At some point, I will have to retire from doing hair and what better way to start by selling hair, so this year is my year to create a site for people to order hair and I’m excited about that. What’s fabulous about PLE is that you guys have everything mapped out. Sometimes it’s very hard to find trustworthy people to make a site for you, so this is something I’m excited about and I can’t wait to get started.

    For me attempting to sell online has been a challenge. From trying different websites to try and work with to having the actual money to get started. The Dropship option is a good start for me. I do t have to worry about finding vendors and testing it out and wasting money. The only obstacle I see is that most people want their hair right then and there. I’m still trying to brand myself.

From my web development background, I’ve learned how to build all kinds of websites including e-commerce websites from scratch.     I launched my business February 7th, 2018 and I will say that this guide right here, I studied for months and months. I still go back to this guide everytime O do not know or remember something to make sure that I am running my business to the best of my ability and that I am utilizing all of my resources. In the beginning, I was tight on money and did not want to spend any but I have had more success when I just jump out on faith. It is March 11th and I am on my 4th sale. What I have been told was that was really good to just be up and running for just a month. I know I could be doing way better but I am still trying to master techniques on how to appeal to social media and get people to take advantage of sales.     Hi Mikey, this was a blog that truly stood out to me! I had paid for my website through PrestaShop and what I got was a drop off into a land of nowhere! Once I had access to my dashboard I didn’t know where to begin, I was especially lost with the product entry information things like the combinations, price, setting taxes and discounts for my products and so forth. I also had issues with the hosting site itself, it had a lot of bugs that needed to be updated and fixed which caused me to lose saved data causing me to have to input 1,000’s of combinations from scratch. The fact the Private Label extends that extra support for setting up a website is amazing and I wish I had this opportunity when I built my store.     It seems like if you are not a hairstylist, selling hair is a challenge. You see all on social media these big named hair company’s making it look super easy, but in all reality it’s hard! You have to know about hair before trying to dive in and sell it. You need to know what grades they are or if it’s raw! If you don’t have a website people will not take you seriously because they want to look you up to make sure you are legit, I would want to make sure you are legit too. Your website has to look very professional and not crowded looking. PLE makes a little less difficult though because they offer so much. If you are doing everything right, unlike me because I do not have a laptop, just a phone, then selling hair online will be a breeze. This blog gives great advice on how to sell online successfully!

I’m on my second website since my hair brand launch and I’m about to go with the option you all suggested when I first started, “If you want to build your own site use WordPress.” I was looking at the cost of the website and most website builders offer pretty good startup plans but that’s as far as it goes. With a hair site, you have to make sure you have the plugins for your site to make your site more attractive and up to date. You will lose money when you don’t start your site on the right platform from the beginning. This is something I have learned the hard way.
